HOLE 1
The first on the East course is a double dogleg downhill par 5. A good drive would be about 220 yards in the left center of the fairway. Two bunkers lie to the right of the fairway starting at 210 yards off the tee. The second shot is downhill and must be hit to the right of a forest of fir trees on the left. A large fir on the right about 120 yards from the green will be in the way if the second shot is hit too far right. A lake on the left side of the fairway, starting at about 100 yards from the green, wraps around the front of the green. The third shot must carry the lake and land on an uphill sloping two-tiered green. This is one of the most severe greens on the course.

HOLE 2
This long par 4 demands accuracy off the tee. A tee shot on the edge of the left side of the fairway can be completely blocked by the three large fir trees. The right side of the fairway has a bunker at about 240 yards off the tee. A second shot to the green must carry a large mound in the front of the green. This green is surrounded by two greenside bunkers in the front of the green and a bunker just off the back right of the green.

HOLE 3
A dogleg right par 4 lined with tall firs frame this hole. A slightly uphill drive must bend to the right at about 225 yards. A drive too far to the left will catch the hillside of the trees. A drive to the right will be completely blocked out. The second shot is downhill onto a green surrounded by bunkers. Mounds line the edge of this undulated green.

HOLE 4
This long par 3 requires a straight shot or a draw into a slightly uphill two-tiered green. A large group of fir trees guard the left side of the fairway. A front right pin placement can be difficult to get to as this green slopes back to the fairway with a run off area just off the front right of the green.

HOLE 5
This short dogleg left par 5 requires a tee shot that fades to the right side of the fairway. A drive to the center or left side of the fairway is completely blocked out from a chance to hit the green in two. A large group of firs form the dogleg on the left side while the lone "Sahalee" tree is on the right at approximately 304 yards off tee. Most of the time a player is forced to lay up, however, a second or third shot into this green must avoid bunkers on the right and left sides—one at approximately 40 yards from the green on the right side of the fairway.

HOLE 6
This long straight par 4 is lined with red leaf hemlock trees on the left side of the fairway and tall firs and cedars on the right. A bunker just off the left side of the fairway at approximately 204 yards encourages the play off the tee to the right center of the fairway. The second shot into this green, surrounded with bunkers in the front of both sides of the green, can be difficult with a front pin placement. This green slopes slightly uphill from front to back.

HOLE 7
This short dogleg right par 4 requires a drive to the middle or left side of the fairway. A large forest of firs on the right side the rough frame this hole. Two large fairway bunkers at approximately 223 yards and 250 yards respectively lurk on the right. A low to mid iron shot is usually required for the second shot to a green guarded with bunkers on the right and left side of the green. Huge mounds in the front and right side of the green provide severely breaking putts. Anything over the green is usually trouble.

HOLE 9
This severe dogleg left par 4 demands accuracy off the tee. A three wood or long iron is commonly used off the tee to land the ball in the middle of the fairway just short of the fairway bunker at approximately 250 yards. Any drive to the left is usually in the forest of firs. A second shot to this green requires pinpoint accuracy because it's surrounded by trees and two bunkers in the front right and left sides of the green. A huge mound in the middle right side of the green provides some very challenging putts.
