Guest Information 

If you are planning to play golf at Sahalee as the guest of a member, please review the following information regarding our Club's policies to enhance your club experience. 

Cell Phone Policy

Cell phones for the purpose of texting or email is permissible on club property. Cell phones shall be switched to vibration or silence mode while on the property. Discreet use of cell phones is permissible on the golf course only with the expressed permission of your playing partners. Talking on a cell phone is prohibited on the practice facilities, within 50 yards of the clubhouse or in any area within the clubhouse not designated as a phone usage area

Dress Code

Our dress code reflects shared values and demonstrates mutual respect for our community and our Sahalee brand.  Adherence to the dress code makes our environment more enjoyable and helps sustain the quality of membership and the standard of excellence upon which Sahalee’s reputation was built. 

Members are responsible for advising their guests and family members regarding the dress code.  Members, family members and/or guests who are not in compliance with our dress code will be asked to comply either by changing or purchasing appropriate attire in the Golf Shop.  

The dress code applies to all members, family members and their guests, including children above age 8. Children under the age of 8 should be attired in similar fashion to the guidelines below.  

All Individuals
Acceptable
  • Golf slacks
  • Shorts, skorts, or dresses (length requirement applies)
  • Collared tops required
  • Long sleeve, short sleeve, or sleeveless shirts (collar requirements apply)
  • Pullovers, sweaters, and golf branded hoodies
  • Joggers made of performance athletic fabric with no exposed drawstrings
  • Rain gear or rain suits
  • Hats and visors worn bill forward
  • Closed toe golf shoes
  • Soft spikes or spikeless shoes required from May–October
Not Acceptable
  • Denim
  • T-shirts
  • Athleisure not designed for golf
  • Sweatshirts, sweatpants, sweatsuits, or athletic shorts
  • Cargo pants or cargo shorts with any external pocket
  • Branded apparel with logos larger than 3"
  • Beach/pool flip‑flops
  • Camouflage or fatigue clothing
  • Baggy, unkempt, cut‑off, or over‑length clothing
  • Any clothing that exposes the midriff
  • Hats or visors worn backwards
Men
  • Shirts must be tucked in
  • Collared tops required (traditional, mock, turtleneck, or blade)
  • Slacks and golf shorts (mid‑thigh or longer)
  • Shorts and slacks must be worn at the waistline
  • Sweaters, pullovers, golf outerwear, rain suits acceptable

Women
Acceptable
  • Collared shirts, mock collars, turtleneck, or blade style tops
  • Sleeveless tops only if collared
  • Button‑front blouses
  • Slacks, capri pants, skirts, skorts, and shorts (mid‑thigh or longer)
  • Dresses (mid‑thigh or longer)
  • Leggings only when worn under a skirt or shorts
Not Acceptable
  • Halter tops
  • Midriff bearing tops
  • Leggings worn alone

Children
Follows same dress standards as adults unless noted otherwise
  • Solid color shirts with a collar preferred
  • Children’s athletic team uniforms acceptable only if designated for junior golf programs
  • Graphic T-shirts not allowed on the course or practice areas

The Clubhouse follows the golf course dress code with a few relaxed allowances.

All Individuals
Acceptable
  • Appropriate denim allowed during regular breakfast, lunch & dinner hours. Requirements:
    • No holes, fraying, tears, or distressing
    • Must be worn at the waist
    • No cut‑offs
  • Golf shoes, casual shoes, and dress sandals
  • Hats and visors permitted on patio and at the bar with the bill forward
Not Acceptable
  • Rubber or pool flip‑flops
  • Backwards hats
  • Baggy, unkempt, or distressed clothing
  • Midriff bearing apparel

Men
  • Tailored, button down shirts do not need to be tucked in
  • Collars not required only if shirt is designed to be worn untucked (e.g., casual button downs)

Women
  • Shirts do not need to be collared
  • All course appropriate items still permitted
  • Additional casual but neat tops allowed (no midriffs, no halters)

Children
  • Solid color T-shirts permitted (no graphics)
  • Athletic teamwear (uniforms) permitted

Special Events
Certain club events may require a more formal standard. Members and guests are expected to dress in accordance with the event specific guidelines when provided.
