Sahalee Country Club PGA Golf Professionals offer individual and playing lessons by appointment. Led by PGA Director of Instruction / Player Development Ryan Benzel, Sahalee Country Club offers instruction for everyone.

Ryan brings his competitive experiences into his instruction. His teaching philosophy is a belief of two things. First, I believe that a consistent setup is key to a productive swing which allows proper impact to be achieved. And second, I believe that positive instruction that results in improved impact position will promote positive change in ball flight. He does not set out to change a players’ golf swing. His goal is to improve their ball flight and consistency, which can be wide ranging depending on the player. He works to coach each player to learn how to deliver the club through the impact zone in an improved fashion which will yield positive results. Ryan can teach and coach players of all abilities to improve and enjoy the game more.

Ryan uses state of the art technology to enhance the learning environment of his students. He uses V1 Pro HD Golf Coaching Video Program to benefit from slow motion video analysis, FlightScope launch monitor for launch and ball flight conditions as well as club fitting, and BodiTrak Sports Pressure Mat. Additional Programs

Swing Training Room

Video Swing Analysis is available by appointment only for a price of a lesson. Please see a member of the Professional Staff for an appointment.

The left side of the room is available for daily practice for a half an hour per session free of charge. You must be on site to schedule usage for the room.

Club Fitting

The Sahalee Professional Staff is currently a designated and trained fitting center for TayorMade, Ping, Titleist, and Cobra Golf Clubs. Our Director of Instruction, Ryan Benzel, utilizes FlightScope launch monitor for all club fitting sessions to provide a “tour” level fitting for members and guests. FlightScope is used to evaluate clubhead speed, ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, decent angle, peak height, dispersion pattern, and carry distance to determine the best clubs for each person. We are well equipped to fit for the entire top of the line golf club manufacturers.

As opposed to investing in an inventory of standard built golf equipment, we feel that customizing equipment to suit each player’s swing provides our members and guests with the best possible equipment. See images below from our FlightScope launch monitor used in a fitting.
